References in the article Flebite

editar

Hello, Mr. Ibrahem. I saw your recent contributions and noticed you've removed quite a lot of references in the article Flebite. I didn't reverse the changes because I didn't actually understand what you were trying to do, so it would help if you explained it. Eunbi! talk? 13h32min de 4 de março de 2024 (UTC)Responder

Translation tools

Hello, Ibrahem! First of all, congrats for developing your tools and helping spreading medical content in different languages. You got another volunteer to use it and help on that field (me! :D ).

There are two issues with the tools. First one is probably simple to solve, which is fixing the word "expend" to "expand" whenever we use the tool to fix references (example).

Other thing that bothers me is that the contents on your subpages on simplewiki, the content on MDwiki and the content on English wiki they are all different for some pages. For instance, Cannabis use disorder: mdwiki, en:Cannabis use disorder, and simple:User:Mr. Ibrahem/Cannabis use disorder. Since the latter is the one that is used by the translator dashboard, wouldn't it be better to have an improved content on this one? —Teles «mensagem ˱C L @ S˲» 17h22min de 19 de agosto de 2024 (UTC)Responder

@Doc James, I wonder if you also have any thought about the second issue. For the example I provided above (Cannabis disorders), I choose to use the English version as the source, as it has more content. However, maybe it would be better to use MDwiki as a source for it is better reviewed (in case that is true)? —Teles «mensagem ˱C L @ S˲» 17h49min de 19 de agosto de 2024 (UTC)Responder
We are only suggesting leads for translation rather than entire articles as that is all we are generally reviewing for medical accuracy. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 18h26min de 19 de agosto de 2024 (UTC)Responder
